Comment:

I opened a downloaded file, to which changed my background to resemble a windows vista box saying my computer had a virus. on the small taskbar popped up a red microsoft security shield that whenever clicked opens up a website pretending to scan my computer for viruses. Also, every few minutes it will open it automatically.

I have hijackthis and will message the log file if needed

Thank your for your time and help, its much appreciated.
